Monday 6 February 2023

7.00 pm St Andrews in the Garden Room.

Simon Rees will talk about Mozart's The Magic Flute in advance of our visit to WNO. Simon has a particular interest in the staging of the opera and in the Masonic allusions. The ideology of the opera is a subject of controversy nowadays, and we hope for a lively discussion after the talk.
